Attached please find News Bulletin regarding the discontinuance of the rail line running from Mattawa to Smiths Fall. This has lead to a partnership of the County of Renfrew, County of Lanark and the Township of Papineau-Cameron intiating discussions with Canadian Pacific Rail with an objective to secure the entire length of the rail corridor on behalf of all municipalities in the region in the most efficient manner possible.
