Peter Emon was born and raised here in the Ottawa Valley. Peter went to Calabogie Elementary School, attended Renfrew Collegiate Institute and graduated from University of Windsor with a BA in Social Work. Peter is very active in his community and over the last 20 years has been involved with a number of Calabogie Lions projects including Demolition Derbys, Santa Claus Parades, and many other community activities including the building of a baseball diamond and organizing Canada Day Celebrations. Peter and his wife live in Calabogie and Peter sits on the County Operations and Social Services Committee and is also on the Executive Committee of the County of Renfrew 150th Expo. As an elected representative on the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association, Peter is a strong supporter of tourism in the County of Renfrew.
